Lead instructor: Giovanni Vitale
The course will present several experimental models, both in vitro and in vivo, which are currently available and used to study different neurological and neuromuscular disorders.
The goal is to give an overview of the state of the art for these disorders with the specific aim to show the limits and advantages in the use of the current preclinical models. A special focus will be made on how these experimental models help in the definition of the pathogenic mechanisms and in the development of the therapeutic strategies. The course will be organized in two days ( 20 and 21 of April, 2023).
Speakers working on specific disorders will be invited to share literature data as well as their own expertise in this field.
