LM-45 R - Musicologia e beni musicali
L'obiettivo del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Musica, Culture, Media, Performance (MCMP) è quello di formare laureate e laureati che possiedano competenze scientifiche specialistiche, teoriche e tecniche, metodologiche e operative, relative alle fenomenologie storiche e agli sviluppi contemporanei del patrimonio e della comunicazione musicale, considerata in stretta relazione con le arti mediali e performative. In ragione della sua duplice natura, teorica e pratica, il Corso di Laurea Magistrale mira, inoltre, alla formazione ampia e articolata, nelle metodologie e nelle applicazioni, di un/a laureato/a capace di svolgere la sua attività in vari settori di elevata responsabilità e qualificazione professionale.
Il Corso di Laurea Magistrale si propone, dunque, di fare acquisire alle sue laureate ed ai suoi laureati: un'approfondita conoscenza storica e teorica sia dei fenomeni musicali, mediali e performativi sia dei suoi modi e mezzi di diffusione; solide competenze nelle discipline linguistiche, filologiche, storiche e filosofiche; la capacità di utilizzare i principali strumenti informatici per l'editoria musicale e il supporto tecnologico alla composizione, all'interpretazione, alla liuteria digitale, all'analisi musicologica; un patrimonio di tecniche e di esperienze nei diversi settori (storico, pedagogico, tecnologico, archivistico, editoriale, giornalistico, produttivo, ecc) della comunicazione musicale, teatrale e audiovisiva verso i quali le studentesse e gli studenti potranno orientarsi. Le laureate e i laureati dovranno, quindi, essere in grado di applicare criticamente tali conoscenze e abilità tanto in una prospettiva esegetica e didattica, quanto nell'ottica della progettazione e della creazione di opere, mostrando avanzate abilità nei settori dell'ideazione, della produzione e dell'organizzazione di eventi, della gestione di strutture teatrali e cinematografiche, nonché avere l'attitudine ad agire efficacemente nel mercato delle arti musicali, mediali e performative considerato in rapporto alle sue differenti specificazioni e alle forme più valide di promozione dei suoi prodotti. Dovranno, inoltre, essere in grado di utilizzare i principali strumenti audiovisivi, informatici e della comunicazione telematica ai fini della documentazione, dello studio scientifico, della comunicazione, nonché ai fini della progettazione e della realizzazione di efficaci sinergie artistiche tra nuove modalità performative e nuovi mezzi elettronici.
Le laureate e i laureati del Corso di Laurea Magistrale in Musica, Culture, Media, Performance (MCMP) dovranno, infine, essere in grado di utilizzare fluentemente la lingua inglese, con riferimento anche ai lessici specialistici della musica e delle discipline ad essa correlate.

Competenze associate alla funzione:
Conoscenze teoriche e applicate dei problemi della gestione e della conservazione del patrimonio storico-musicale. Capacità di applicare le proprie competenze nei settori della critica, dell'editoria, dell'educazione musicale, della conservazione dei beni musicali, teatrali e audiovisivi. Capacità di agire efficacemente nel mercato dello spettacolo dal vivo, considerato in rapporto alle sue differenti specificazioni e alle forme più valide di promozione dei suoi prodotti. Abilità nell'utilizzare le metodologie della ricerca storiografica, della classificazione e dello studio delle fonti. Padronanza delle più moderne tecniche d'indagine, comprese quelle informatiche. Capacità di utilizzare le proprie metodologie di studio ai fini della valorizzazione del patrimonio e della divulgazione culturale. Competenze di pedagogia e di pedagogia musicale spendibili nella didattica della musica, della musicologia e delle discipline dello spettacolo.

Si fa inoltre presente che in data 2 luglio 2024 il Ministero della Cultura ha pubblicato un Decreto direttoriale della Direzione Generale organizzazione (n. 1112) nel quale viene adottato un nuovo ordinamento professionale del personale non dirigenziale del Ministero della Cultura. In questo nuovo ordinamento compare la figura del Funzionaro Musicologo, con la definizione delle competenze richieste e delle mansioni previste. Sono definiti inoltre anche i requisiti d'accesso tra cui appunto la laurea magistrale LM-45.
Le laureate e i laureati che avranno crediti in numero sufficiente in quei settori scientifico-disciplinari che rendono possibile, secondo la normativa vigente, l'accesso alle Classi di Concorso previste per la LM-45, potranno partecipare al percorso di abilitazione e/o concorso previsto per l'insegnamento delle discipline musicali negli istituti di istruzione secondaria di primo e secondo grado.

Per ogni sede sono offerti agli/alle studenti/esse Erasmus outgoing soggiorni variabili da 3 a 10 mesi, durante i quali lo/la studente/essa può seguire e sostenere esami che saranno riconosciuti come parte integrante del piano di studi per il conseguimento del titolo, unendo a tale tipo di attività la ricerca per la preparazione della tesi di Laurea Magistrale, e vedendola riconosciuta entro i crediti coperti dalla borsa del programma Erasmus.
Ogni anno tutte le attività didattiche previste dal programma vengono presentate agli/alle studenti/esse interessati/e dal/dalla referente Erasmus in un apposito incontro informativo; i dati e le informazioni didattiche necessarie alla presentazione del Learning Agreement sono inoltre raccolte in apposite schede informative pubblicate sulla pagina Erasmus della Facoltà di Studi umanistici (https://www.unimi.it/it/internazionale/studiare-allestero/partire-con-erasmus/come-partecipare/erasmus-aree/erasmus-studi-umanistici).
Per gli/le studenti/esse Erasmus incoming il Corso di Laurea Magistrale garantisce la possibilità di frequentare tutte le lezioni dei corsi in lingua italiana: coloro che lo desiderino possono concordare con i singoli docenti un programma parzialmente o completamente in lingua inglese.
Inoltre, con molte Università partner sono attivi anche scambi del personale docente, che prevedono soggiorni come visiting professor di nostri/e docenti all'estero e di colleghi/e stranieri/e presso la nostra istituzione all'interno dei corsi del Dipartimento di Beni culturali e ambientali.

Proficiency in ENGLISH at a B1 level or higher under the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) is required for admission.
The B1-level requirement will be ascertained by the University Language Centre (SLAM) upon admission as follows:
- Language certificate at or above B1, obtained no more than three years earlier. For the list of language certificates recognized by the University please review: (https://www.unimi.it/en/node/39267). The certificate must be uploaded when submitting the online application;
- English level achieved during a University of Milan degree programme and certified by the University Language Centre (SLAM) no more than four years before the date of admission application, including levels based on language certificates submitted by the applicants during their Bachelor's degree at the University of Milan. In this case the process is automatic, the applicant does not have to attach any certificates to the application;
- Entry test administrated by the University Language Centre (SLAM) according to the calendar published on the website: (https://www.unimi.it/en/node/39267)
All those who fail to submit a valid certificate or do not meet the required proficiency level will be instructed during the admission procedure to take the Entry test.

The tuition fees for students enrolled in Bachelor's, Master's and single-cycle degree programmes are divided into two instalments with different calculation methods and payment schedules:
- The amount of the first instalment is the same for all students
- The amount of the second instalment varies according to the ISEE University value, the degree programme and the student status (on track / off track for one year or off track for more than a year)
- An additional fee is due for online programmes
