Open semester exams
The three end-of-course exams will be held one after the other, on the same dates and at the same time in all universities that have organised the open semester. There will be two exam dates:
- 20 November 2025 at 11:00
- 10 December 2025 at 11:00
Each exam will last 45 minutes, with a 15-minutes break between one exam and the other.
Each exam consists of 15 multiple-choice questions and 16 sentence completion questions, for a total of 31 questions.
Exams are graded on a scale of thirty (30), plus 1 point for honours (lode). For the purpose of the ranking, points are awarded as follows:
- 1 point for each correct answer;
- 0 points for no answer;
- minus 0.10 points for each wrong answer.
A maximum of 93 points can be awarded for the three exams together.
If you fail any of your exams on the first date or decide not to accept the grade obtained, you will be able to re-sit your exam(s) on the second available date.
Candidates with disabilities and/or SLD enrolled in the opern semester who wish to request compensatory measures during the exams held at the end of the semester must complete the online request form.
Registration for the three Open Semester exams scheduled for 20 November will be carried out automatically by the Student Administration Office.
Candidates will be registered only for the exams in which they have met the attendance requirement.
All candidates automatically registered will receive a confirmation on their university e-mail address.
