The Italian Publishers’ Association, through Promopress, has issued highly restrictive provisions on the dissemination, publishing and sharing of press articles or audio-video services. These provisions, mainly referring to copyright law, have been brought to the attention of Italian universities and will be the subject of a forthcoming review by the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI), as they affect a widely popular service, which is key to town-and-gown relationships. For this reason, the service is temporarily suspended.
