Management
What will I study?
Our fully online Bachelor's degree in Management offers an interdisciplinary learning pathway, allowing students to acquire the fundamentals of business management and economics, statistics, mathematics and law while developing the ability to analyse digital transformations and socio-economic transitions. The programme also fosters the acquisition of AI knowledge and skills.
How will I study?
Teaching is structured into cluster courses, each worth 18-30 ECTS credits and divided into multiple modules. Each module entails about 40 hours of online learning, divided between lecture-based learning (recorded synchronous lectures, asynchronous video-lectures, digital materials and multimedia resources) and interactive learning (e-tivities such as exercises, participation in forums, online collaborative projects). Enrolment is open all year long.
What is the workload like?
You are free to organise your study time as you prefer, with no time or location restrictions. By putting in 10-20 hours per week, you should manage to prepare for three cluster exams every year, for a total of approximately 60 ECTS credits. Exam dates are scheduled every two months.
On-campus exams and graduation
The programme requires students to pass eight end-of-course exams, one for each cluster course. All exams are held on campus. They are usually scheduled on Fridays or Saturdays every two months, for a total of 6 exam dates per year for each course, to facilitate students with work or family-related commitments. Graduation will also be on campus. Each year there will be four possible graduation dates scheduled across three sessions.
Flexible online learning with continuous tutoring support
Courses are delivered via a state-of-the-art Learning Management System platform allowing you to fully customise your online learning activities. With our continuous tutoring support and an active learning community at your side, you will enjoy an inclusive and effective academic experience, comparable to the one offered by in-person programmes.
In the first year, the focus is on acquiring the theoretical foundations and methodological tools necessary to interpret the functioning of business organisations and their economic and institutional context, through the cluster courses of Business Administration 1, Economics 1, and Statistics and Mathematics. Two further compulsory activities are also included: one concerning the assessment of English language proficiency, and one of an IT nature relating to artificial intelligence.
The second year is structured to consolidate essential knowledge in the areas of management, law and economics, enabling students to understand decision-making mechanisms, organisational dynamics and the regulatory frameworks that define the business system and its operating environment, through the cluster courses of Business Administration 2, Foundations of Law, and Economics 2.
The third year aims to complete the business and economics education through advanced specialist courses and the introduction of customisable pathways and practical-professional applications, through the cluster course of Social and Economic Transitions and 15 ECTS credits of elective courses of the student's choice.
The teaching model is built on an advanced online learning platform, which employs digital resources, asynchronous activities, interactive forums, guided e-tivities, exercises and collaborative tools. Continuous tutoring, the possibility of building personalised pathways and the presence of an active learning community make the programme inclusive and capable of supporting students with diverse needs, whilst also fostering learning autonomy.
The programme guarantees the acquisition of transversal competencies (soft skills), such as teamwork, the ability to critically analyse complex scenarios and the conscious use of digital technologies, facilitating entry into dynamic working environments and access to Master's degree programmes consistent with the education received.
Knowledge is acquired entirely online, through an integrated set of activities designed to ensure full educational equivalence with face-to-face teaching, in line with the University's pedagogical model. In particular, learning takes place through:
- Structured e-tivities (online activities guided by the lecturer and the subject tutor) aimed at promoting active study, individual reflection and peer exchange
- Asynchronous multimedia modules (video lectures, podcasts, interactive materials, annotated readings) that allow autonomous and personalised engagement with the content
- Synchronous online sessions dedicated to in-depth exploration of key conceptual areas and direct dialogue with lecturers
- Virtual laboratory activities, aimed at the practical application of acquired knowledge
- Disciplinary forums and collaborative environments, fostering continuous exchange and the participatory construction of knowledge
- Digital exercises and simulations, to consolidate quantitative and IT competencies
The assessment of knowledge is pursued and verified through written and/or oral examinations, a final project (final dissertation) and applied assignments, which assess not only mastery of theoretical content but also the ability to integrate it within a unified and critical framework.

Fulfilment of the OFA is verified through a final in-person assessment, scheduled by the Teaching Board.
Failure to fulfil the OFA prevents students from sitting examinations in the second year.
The OFA monitoring system is integrated within quality assurance activities and enables evaluation of the effectiveness of remedial pathways, also with a view to continuous improvement.
