Admissions, rankings, enrolment

These services are for:

  • prospective students
  • graduates of University of Milan without valid access login 
  • for24 students

Current students can find all services accessing Unimia. To login you need valid University credentials.

Services are not available between 01:00 am and 02:00 am. They request cookies.

Login

To login you need valid University credentials: prospective students or graduates before 2010 must register to the University. You will thus create a personal username and password to be used thereafter in accessing admission and enrolment procedures, as well as guidance and information services.
You can access the University's services by using your SPID identity. Further information is available on the Registration page.

New deadline for enrolment

For a number of undergraduate programmes, the enrolment deadline has been extended and enrolment is still possible. The TOLC test required for admission must be taken at least 48 hours before the enrolment deadline.

For all programmes, is necessary to apply for an admission test/selection or evaluation (master) a few tests are selective and competitive, others are non selective, however mandatory, and aimed at assessing applicants knowledges in specific disciplinary fields. Only if you pass the admission you can enrol. 

Admissions

The online service for the assessment of previous academic studies must be used by students enrolled in Bachelor’s degree programmes and single-cycle Master’s degree programmes.

There are two types of applications for the assessment of previous academic studies:

  • Preliminary assessment application: this may be submitted before enrolment for the current academic year to find out which credits may be recognised in the event of enrolment in a specific degree programme (the service is available within the deadlines specified in the relevant admission calls for Bachelor’s degree programmes and single-cycle Master’s degree programmes, for the purpose of assessing eligible credits).
  • Credit recognition application: this may be submitted by students already enrolled for the current academic year, from 30 October 2026 to 31 March 2027.

Only one application of each type may be submitted per academic year.

A fee of €75 is charged for applications for the assessment of previous academic studies, unless already paid. Applications will not be considered unless the required fee has been paid.

In accordance with Law no. 33 of 12 April 2022, Ministerial Decrees no. 930 of 29 July 2022 and no. 933 of 2 August 2022, as well as the Resolution of the Academic Senate dated 13 September 2022, students can enrol in two academic programmes at the same time, as explained on the webpage Simultaneous enrolment in two higher education programmes.
